I'm Gonçalo Teixeira, and I'm a Product Designer from the west coast of Portugal.

I've been practicing design for ~14 years since a young age. Despite various diversions, my passion kept drawing me back.

Like many designers of my generation, I started my design journey playing around with Photoshop. I was fascinated by the idea of creating my own websites, logos and graphics.

Eager to learn more, I joined design forums to gain insights from experienced designers. I've been involved in the design community since around 2012, tracking it from when I first created my Dribbble and Twitter accounts.

Spline in 2021.

It was a significant milestone in my career, providing the opportunity to grow and work on a variety of rewarding and challenging projects.

Over these last years working in such a fast-paced startup environment I had to learn fast and adapt quickly to new challenges.

Nowadays, with more years under my belt, I focus on impacting our products with strategic ideas, leading product development initiatives through close collaboration with engineering teams and hands-on design work.

I have a builder working style and like to be involved from early concepting to shipped product, doing whatever I can to help the team have a successful launch.

When I'm away from work, I enjoy immersing myself in nature, spending time at the beach, and unwinding through cycling sessions on my Canyon Grail.

I'm a passionate football fan, enjoy dabbling in street photography, and occasionally jump into some gaming sessions.

Additionally, I'm fond of learning about psychology and mental health.
